CabFestNV Set For March 2014 - To Feature More Than 100 of Napa Valley’s Top Wineries for First Cabernet Festival

(Yountville, CA) – Napa Valley’s legendary Cabernets finally have a festival of their own! The Napa Valley Performing Arts Center at Lincoln Theater presents the first Napa Valley Cabernet Festival, “CabFestNV,” March 1 & 2, 2014, a weekend that will be filled with fine wine, fabulous food, fantastic parties and world-class entertainment. Event tickets will be priced at $125 for a single-day Grand Tasting pass, $225 for a two-day Grand Tasting pass, and $500 for the All-Access Full-Weekend pass. Only 100 All-Access passes will be sold, and include two days of Grand Tastings, all VIP tastings, plus preferred concert seating and access to exclusive VIP events and tastings. All-Access passes and two-day Grand Tasting passes go on sale December 10; limited two-day Grand Tasting passes are available for $185 if purchased by midnight December 31, 2013. Passes will be available online at lincolntheater.com or by calling the box office at 707-944-9900.  VIP events and concert prices will be announced shortly and will go on sale after the first of the new year.

CabFestNV will feature more than 100 of Napa Valley’s exceptional vintners, representing both the enduring tastemakers and the hottest boutiques, and is designed to appeal to both the novice and the expert. Through current and library tastings, thoughtfully combined wine, food and chocolate pairings, educational lectures and incomparable culinary demonstrations (accessing the world-class chefs of the region), CabFestNV will explore the many facets of Cabernet Sauvignon’s complexity and mystique. There is much more to CabFestNV, however, than simply enhancing the appreciation and appeal of Cabernet Sauvignon. CabFestNV has been created to grow into an annual celebration proving that seriously good wine should not be taken too seriously… and so the weekend will be laced with music from rock to classical, plus exclusive events and extraordinary festivities.
