    Harlem Shake ... Opera Style!
Florida Grand Opera's Chorus Behind-the-Scene of La traviata

The Harlem Shake isn't quite over yet! Members of the Florida Grand Opera chorus, a group known for finding creative ways to entertain themselves backstage, put together a Harlem Shake video while backstage at the Arsht Center for a performance of Verdi’s La traviata.

Choristers can be seen in the chorus practice room, decked out in their costumes for Act 1 of the show. As the party breaks out in the video, we see choristers change to the costumes from the masquerade scene in La traviata (Act II, scene II “Flora’s salon”).

If you have any questions or are interested in speaking with members of the chorus who participated in and organized this video, there is an opportunity to do so backstage at the Broward Center. For details, contact FGO's PR Manager, Alejandra Serna, at aserna@fgo.org.
