Without a good story, you're just another cause in the crowd. But a good story also needs to be told just the right way. Digital storytelling amps up your message with technology and powerful images.

Because we know digital storytelling is an essential part of your marketing and fundraising strategy, TechSoup is dedicated to providing your nonprofit, charity, library, or social-benefit organization with the resources it needs to craft a convincing story using modern tools.

This April, we've combined a month of intensive learning with friendly competition into a hands-on media-making project. After absorbing expert instruction from our webinars, tweet chats, articles, and blogs, you'll put your new skills to work! Create a short video (up to 90 seconds) or a five-image slide show and enter it by April 30 to win prizes.

The best cause-driven digital stories will grab fabulous technology from the likes of Cisco, Citrix Online, Atomic Training, Flickr, Connect2give, and Plantronics. With all that tech treasure, you'll take your digital storytelling moxie over the top.

We'll celebrate all your hard work, great stories, and new skills at an awards gala at PARISOMA in San Francisco and live streamed online, courtesy of Wix and EventBrite.
