Atlanta, GA, July, 2, 2013 - Emmanuel Hudson, ½ of the comedic/rap brother duo Emmanuel and Philip Hudson, has been selected as one of the new cast members of the resurrected sketch comedy show, “Nick Cannon Presents Wild ‘N Out.” The new season premieres Tuesday, July 9 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on MTV2 with all the must-see qualities from the first incarnation: lightning fast comedic improv, head-to head competition and cutting edge entertainment that’s more rap battle than comedic stage.
The 22 year old Emmanuel and his brother Phillip became instant YouTube sensations with their catchy and hilarious song, "Ratchet Girl Anthem," in January 2012. Currently, the song has over 50 million YouTube views and 70,000 iTunes downloads. In less than a year, the success of the video has led to a record deal with Archive Entertainment and an album, “LOL;” and nationwide performances and appearances.
As Emmanuel tours and works on TV development deals with his brother, he has also been successful as a solo entertainer scoring roles in the Rain Forest film "Ride Along" starring Kevin Hart and Ice Cube and the ABC network series "Nashville.” In the first episode of "Wild 'N Out" airing Tuesday, July 9, Emmanuel makes a great first impression by nailing his punchline in a joke directly aimed at comedic icon Kevin Hart.
