Stephan Beringer Joins VivaKi as Chief Growth Officer and President of Audience On Demand

Chicago, IL – January 27, 2014 – Frank  Voris, CEO of VivaKi, today announced that Stephan Beringer has been named Chief Growth Officer and President of Audience On Demand® (AOD) for the ad tech solutions company owned by Publicis Groupe. Beringer will oversee the addressable media practice worldwide, focusing on the innovations that continue to drive the performance and brand safety of programmatic media.  He replaces Kurt Unkel who is leaving VivaKi at the end of February.

Beringer was previously Chief Growth and Strategy Officer for the Digital Technologies Division of Publicis Groupe, including DigitasLBi and Razorfish.  He has been responsible for creating and deploying cross-agency teams tailor-made for clients.  He has also led and nurtured the Adobe alliance for Publicis Groupe, a responsibility he will now be merging into his new position.  During his tenure as International CEO for Digitas and Razorfish from 2009 to 2013, he built the network across 11 international markets serving such clients as Audi, Delta, Evian, L’Oréal, McDonald's, Renault, Nissan, P&G and Samsung and was responsible for the integration of Digitas and LBi globally.

Beringer is considered a leader of the interactive space. During the nineties he established and led the first communication agency with digital at the core in Germany, which became Tribal DDB.  By the time he left Tribal in 2005 to join Digitas, he had tripled the network's regional footprint to 24 offices and led the team to be awarded significant accolades including: Cannes Agency of the Year, Cannes Lions Grand Prix Awards (Cyber and Film), Adweek's Interactive Agency of the Year and Advertising Age's Global Agency Network of the Year.

Beringer, 50, will report to Voris.  He previously reported to Rishad Tobaccowala, Chairman of DigitasLBi and Razorfish, who also serves as Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer for Vivaki.
