Chicago, IL – VivaKi, Publicis Groupe’s ad tech solutions provider, today announced that two new directors have joined its Brand Relations division: Andy Cogbill and Robert Gibbs.  Cogbill and Gibbs will be responsible for driving adoption for VivaKi’s product suite including the programmatic media buying service Audience On Demand ® (AOD) via advocacy and education across all of the Publicis Groupe agencies. They will also be responsible for strategic product consulting, account management and marketing for the AOD suite of solutions. They will both report into Mac Delaney, who was recently promoted to Senior Vice President.

Mac Delaney

Delaney has been an integral member of the Brand Relations team since its early foundations. He oversees relationship management for the Publicis Groupe agencies and ensures that his team continually works to educate internal and external audiences about best-in-class addressable marketing practices. He brings nearly 14 years of digital experience to VivaKi after beginning his career with 24/7 Media in 2000.

Prior to joining VivaKi, Delaney managed the central region of NewsCorp's FOX Audience Network after having opened up the  Midwest regional operations for John Battelle's Federated Media. At Federated, Delaney conceived and launched the first Conversation Marketing campaigns for clients such as Target, McDonald's and Dow Chemical.

His previous work experience also includes roles with industry giants Microsoft Advertising, where he managed the ROI division for display and search marketers, and at Yahoo! Boston, where he created their first performance display group catering specifically to online direct marketers. This group remains intact today as a center of excellence for programmatic audience buying and continues to represent one of the company's largest revenue drivers.

Andy Cogbill

Prior to joining VivaKi, Cogbill was Director of Client Solutions at [x+1] where he led the development of key enterprise relationships and marketing of proprietary [x+1] programs in data management, cross-channel media management and platform analytics. During his tenure, he built and led a cross-functional team in service of clients such as Allstate, CCP Games, Discover Card, Electronic Arts and GEICO.

During his career, he has held focus on client service in all facets of digital marketing for agencies such as createthe group, MCD Partners and Digitas, working across paid search, display creative and media, e-commerce user experience design, social media and more.  His unwavering curiosity about all things digital has led to a foundational expertise in what works for data-driven marketing strategy, planning, execution and analysis – a skillset he pairs with a passion for leading a team to drive continuous innovation for his client partners.

He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Middlebury College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French literature and computer science.

Cogbill is based in New York.

Robert Gibbs

Gibbs was previously Managing Director of the marketing and technology firm 101 Worldwide where he led the agency’s offering, positioning, product management, client engagement and US operations. During his time there, he helped grow the business considerably, building out its employee base from a small team to over 100. Under his leadership, the company landed key client accounts with brands such as Vodafone, Comcast, Kodak and Intercontinental Hotels, just to name a few. He also helped develop and copyright proprietary data analytics and eCommerce platforms, a social monitoring system, customer engagement models and the agency workflow portal.

Prior to that, he served as Managing Director of the integrated marketing agency Pepper Global GmbH, a division of Computershare. In this role, he led all operations, people management and client engagements for the US business, as well as managed the P&L, working closely with the global CFO. He served as the client lead for Pepper Global’s largest account, Hewlett-Packard, and played an instrumental role in HP’s global loyalty campaigns and digital strategy. Prior to opening the US offices in 2004, he also helped launch the agency’s Singapore office and contributed to the growth and positive reputation for the agency worldwide.

Gibbs also has extensive experience in international business and technology consulting. During his career, he has worked in various locations throughout the U.S., Europe and Asia.

He received his Bachelor of Science degree, with honors, in computer science and marketing from Oxford Brookes University, England.

Gibbs is based in Chicago.
